We try where possible to use biodegradable packaging. We even go as far as to reuse or recycle boxes we receive from our suppliers. Therefore, you may realise that your soaps may arrive in a box that is being lovingly reused. I hope you appreciate this.
However, some packaging we use, may not be biodegradable but recyclable.
All our UK orders are shipped using Royal Mail Signed For. You have the option of choosing either 1st or 2nd Class. We do not currently deliver outside of the UK mainland. You can visit Royal Mail Track Your Order with the reference number that you would have received in your email. Shipping costs will be calculated at the checkout.

2nd Class is £5.95 aimed to be delivered within 3-4 working days.
1st Class is £7.95 aimed to be delivered within 1-2 working days.

Some orders may come in boxes that previously been used. This is in keeping with our ethos to recycle and minimise waste and save our beautiful planet. The boxes if re used will no way affect the quality of your order. We encourage you to do the same, pass on the box.

Yes, all ours soaps are made from 100% natural ingredients like coconut oil, olive oil and water. Some of our soaps do include natural colourings and essential oils.
None of our soap contains any animal products or by products such as bee wax or honey.

After the curing process, our soaps are sampled by the team, family and friends, and people in the local community willing to try our soaps and provided honest constructive feedback before we make a decision as to whether to add to our soap collection.

Lye is also referred to as Lye Solution, Caustic Soda, Na0H or sodium hydroxide.
Put another way, “soap” requires the presence of lye in order to transforms the oils and lye into soap. To make soap you need lye.
So yes, we do use lye in all our soaps. The chemical reaction of the oils with the lye, technically means that once saponification has occurred there is no longer oil nor lye…just soap.
Our soaps are not specifically created for babies and children and are aimed at children aged 3 years and over. We hope to create a special soap some day soon aimed at the younger.
We do not make any claims about our soaps being suitable for people with sensitive skin.
However, valuable feedback from our customers is that they very much appreciate the unscented ranges including: 001, 005, just oats and Himalayan salt.
There can be many reasons why a person’s skin is sensitive and it could be due to other allergies not the soap.
When using our soaps, we recommend using a soap dish that allows drainage to ensure the soap is not swimming in a pool of water.
If the soaps need to be stored away before use, the optimum way is to keep them in a cool well ventilated dry place away from direct sunlight.

Currently we have no intention of doing so due to the vast amount of plastic required to store and sell them... only for the bottles to end up in land fills.
We have also listened to our customers who say they appreciate how they can carry our soaps onto flights as hand luggage and find that really helpful, as they cannot carry liquids in excess of 100ml on their flights.
